Enabling Objects: Haunted or just bad luck?

Some objects are believed to carry dark energy — “enabling objects” that invite strange activity and give entities a way into our world. Read the SEPI Agency new hypothesis.

In the realm of the supernatural, certain objects are believed to harbour malevolent spirits or energies. These “enabling objects” seem to invite eerie occurrences and unsettling experiences. The SEPI Agency fully believes these enabling objects to be used by entities (or EDE's) to allow access to your 'safe-space' such as your home. Where the entity is not able to take over or control the person directly (and there may be lots of possible factors as to why they can't), they will use an object to gain entry to an area within this dimension. Almost like a supernatural key or portal, if you like.

Throughout history, there have been many examples of objects that seem to be the bearers of bad luck or out-right hauntings. They come in all shapes and sizes, and the SEPI Agency even believes that houses can also act as enabling objects, possibly even people...

Here are some of the most notorious examples:

In a dusty attic, a porcelain doll sits with an unnerving smile. Legend has it that this doll once belonged to a young girl who vanished under mysterious circumstances. Visitors often report hearing faint giggles and whispers when near the doll, and some claim its eyes follow them around the room. One of the most infamous possessed dolls is that of Annabelle. The famed raggedy doll featured in the film of the same name and said to be investigated by the demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren. This is featured in the video below.

Can Objects Really be possessed & haunted?

An ancient dagger, discovered buried near an old estate, is another enabling object. This weapon, with its intricate carvings and rusted blade, is said to have been used in dark rituals. Those who have touched the dagger report feeling an overwhelming sense of dread and experiencing vivid nightmares of violent acts. In a grand, old mansion, an antique mirror hangs ominously on the wall. This mirror, with its ornate frame, is rumoured to reflect more than just one’s image. Several people have claimed to see shadowy figures and ghostly apparitions in its depths. Some even say the mirror shows glimpses of tragic events from the past.

CURSED ALTERS

Hidden in a secluded grove, a stone altar stands as a silent witness to ancient rites. This altar, covered in moss and engraved with cryptic symbols, is believed to be a focal point for dark energies. Animals avoid the area, and those who venture too close often feel an inexplicable chill and a sense of being watched.

What Can WE DO About them?

The SEPI Agency is currently working on a case where we believe that the enabling object is the cause of unsettling energies and strange occurrences within a home. Applying some logical thought and science to it, we believe that each enabling object is radiating a particular frequency that is used by the entity to carry out its intentions; therefore, we must disrupt that. The first method is to wrap the entire object in tin foil. Why? Because the tin foil will block and disrupt the desired frequency for the entity and will cause confusion to it, rendering the object useless. We have other ideas for this, but until we can fully test the first method, we will refrain from suggesting any more at this stage. Check back here for updates.
